Welcome to 'Naked Motorist' a user generated content site where you can leave comments, stories and even warnings about how you have been treated by the delightful motor trade. We hope this website will give you the chance to blow off steam, share your tales and seek comfort in the fact that others have had similar experiences.
Many dealers offer excellent levels of customer service but unfortunately there are some who treat customers to appalling levels of verbal abuse and neglect.
We want to poke a bit of fun at those dealers who see themselves as 'The Untouchables'
'We will expose any un-gentlemanly conduct'
' Make sure you check out the navigation button which will
take you to Donnelly Subaru Belfast but please scroll right to the bottom of each page as there are plenty of interesting videos and pictures to amuse you'
'Car dealers have a dubious reputation based on their past activity and bad breath'
Does your dealer experience leave you feeling like you have been taken for a ride?
If you would like to post a comment or submit your story please shoot from the hip
This site was initally set up to recount the sad story of Donnelly Subaru Belfast but it has already attracted so much interest fom all sorts of people with a silly story about foul smelling car slesmen that we will see the site expand to include a variety of manufacturers.
' This situation has become more ridiculous than a donkey
eating ginger roots
Subaru had a good reputation for customer care,
I wonder what has gone wrong?'
'A great man once said to get out and stay out, good advice
however in this case nobody ever even got out of anything other
than what they did not agree to with themselves regardles of what they say'
SOME DEALERS WILL TRY AND PASS OF SUSPICIOUS CARS AFTER 'REPAIRING THEM'
Sometimes less than environmentally sound disposal practices
are applied when Trading Standards turns up.
Some of the investigators will even be older than expected,
but don't be fooled, their experience extends to all fields
There are many investigators out there trying to unearth the truth
but they have their work cut out for them
'If you have a story or wish to report something that annoys the hell out of you, register and start moaning'

I really can't believe Subaru UK have no control over their dealers. Why not just buy from one of those cheap importers?

I have had experience before of car dealers who, after the tyres kiss the kerb, couldn't give a toss about you. Subaru used to have a really good reputation, but this has started to diminish because dealers are only concerned by a fast buck.

After requesting help from Subaru UK, they offered to inspect the car which was steaming up, handling was nervous and the registration book was still missing. What a mess! Donnellys denied having anything to do with the car, this was odd since they had their sticker on the number plate and rear window.
I offered to allow them to swap the car for one with no peculular history and no odd registration situation. |
